Notice to Recruiters and Staffing Agencies

Keppel and its subsidiary companies (“Keppel”) have internal recruiting teams to fill open roles that are posted to the general public. Keppel may from time to time add to its internal teams’ capabilities by engaging with external staffing agencies, recruiting vendors and/or employment agencies (“Recruitment Agencies”). Recruitment Agencies are hereby specifically directed not to send resumes or candidate data or otherwise directly or indirectly contact Keppel employees for the purposes of presenting candidates for employment.

The only exception to the above is for Recruitment Agencies who have a valid agency agreement in place with Keppel which has been authorised by Keppel’s recruiting team (“Authorised Recruitment Agencies”). Additionally, Authorised Recruitment Agencies must obtain prior written approval from Keppel's recruiting team to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid agency agreement and in response to a specific job opening. Keppel will not pay a fee to any Recruitment Agencies that does not have such an agreement in place.

To protect the interests of all parties, and to ensure Recruitment Agencies have authorisation to share candidate personal information, Keppel will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than from Authorised Recruitment Agencies that have a valid agency agreement in place with Keppel as stated above. Any unsolicited resumes or other candidate data submitted to Keppel regardless of the means of transmission (mail, email, fax, or other modes) shall be considered Keppel’s property.

Keppel will not pay fees for any placement resulting from the receipt of unsolicited resumes or candidate data. Keppel will consider any candidate for whom a Recruitment Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the Recruitment Agency free of any charges or fees.

Agency agreements will only be valid if in writing and signed by an authorised officer of Keppel’s Human Resources team or his/her designee. No other Keppel employee is authorised to bind Keppel to any agreement regarding the placement of candidates by Recruitment Agencies. Keppel hereby specifically rejects, and denies any liability under, any agreement purporting to be accepted based on implied or negative consent, course of conduct, negotiation with a candidate, or any means other than the signature of an authorised Keppel officer.
